Fault code

Each fault is assigned an OBD-II compatible code that consist of an alpha-numeric designator followed by four digits (Example: P0563).

On a 947-DI vehicle, a double star (**) preceding the fault code indicates that the fault has a condition snap shot associated to it in the More Details page.

On an ECM, a double star (**) preceding the fault code indicates that the fault is stored in the module memory and has a condition snap shot associated to it in the More Details page.

On RFI engines, the code is appended an hexadecimal number (in parenthesis) that refers to the RFI shop manual error codes.
