Error 253: Calibration cartridge programming error

Description

The calibration cartridge inserted on the MPI® DESS® post had not been properly programmed.

Possible causes

1.	The cartridge contacts are rusted or dirty.

2.	The cartridge was already programmed or is defective.

3.	The MPI is defective.

Suggested actions

1.	Make sure that the cartridge is completely inserted on the MPI DESS post.

2.	Clean the cartridge contacts.

3.	Maintain a light pressure with your hand on the cartridge.

4.	Try programming the cartridge again.

5.	Try another cartridge.
